Alternative Employment Specialists is a small, woman owned
recruitment firm, established in 1998.
Alternative is headquartered in Herndon,
Virginia, and provides staffing services
throughout the US.
Our clients include international Fortune 500 companies,
local businesses , national companies, not for profits and associations.
Nancy Palazza, president and founder of
Alternative has
over 20 years of experience in the staffing and recruitment industry. Her staff
consists of recruiters and sales managers with 35 years of combined industry
experience. Alternative’s extensive database of qualified candidates allows fast
and accurate responses to our client’s requests.
Our client’s rely on us to quickly meet their workforce
needs with highly qualified candidates. We work closely with our clients to
develop an in depth understanding of their company, industry, culture and work
style. This process enables Alternative to serve as an extension of the client
company’s Human Resources department.

individualized support in defining and achieving their career goals. We

Alternative is a full service staffing company, offering
the following placement services:
Technology
staffing accounts for over 50% of
Alternative’s revenue. We provide highly
qualified candidates with short turnaround time. We work closely with IT
managers to meet or exceed their technical standards and budgetary constraints.
We offer contract, contract to hire and full time placements for technology candidates.
Alternative works
with hiring managers to help define their administrative requirements. We
provide a full range of administrative and clerical candidates including
receptionists, administrative assistants, executive assistants, data entry
operators and customer service specialists. We provide temporary, temporary to
hire and full time placements for administrative candidates.
We provide candidates in the following categories: cost accountants, CPA’s,
payroll specialists, financial analysts, A/P and A/R specialists and accounting
clerks. Our Finance and Accounting candidates are available for contract,
contract to hire and full time placements.
Alternative provides subcontract services to government contractors. Our
candidates include :
